Maqro Construction (also known as the Maqro Group) — one of the largest investment companies in Georgia, operating in the market since 2013. The group of companies operates in three main areas: Maqro Construction (infrastructure and government projects), Maqro Development (innovative residential and commercial developments) and Maqro Tourism (construction of premium-class hotels and tourist facilities). In 2024, the company spun off its residential development business into a separate brand — Maqro Development, in order to focus on creating high-quality living spaces.

Since entering the Georgian market, Maqro Construction has completed more than 10 successful projects and invested in the country’s economy over $270 million. The company has created more than 3,000 jobs. Among its landmark projects are the ‘Green Budapest’ and ‘Green Diamond’ residential complexes, which feature a unique ‘green’ construction concept, hotel Mercure Tbilisi Old Town (Accor group), the Bellissa furniture chain and the Dinehall restaurant. Maqro also takes part in government infrastructure tenders, including the stabilisation of landslide-prone slopes along the Tbilisi–Senaki road. In 2025, the company signed a memorandum of cooperation with a South Korean architectural firm HEERIM ARCHITECTS & PLANNERS (55 years’ experience) in delivering large-scale projects in Georgia and abroad.

Maqro Construction was one of the first companies to introduce the concept of ‘green’ residential complexes to the Georgian market, featuring extensive park areas, sports facilities and swimming pools. At ‘Green Diamond’, the green space covers 23,000 m².

Fully finished flats

The company was the first in Georgia to start offering customers fully fitted flats — complete with kitchen furniture, built-in appliances and bathroom fittings.
